Boutiques In The Boro
It all started with Runway. Laura Lanier opened Runway in Statesboro's Main Street Village in June 2007. Runway was a women's specialty boutique focusing on designer denim. Runway also carried trendy tops, dresses and accessories. Runway was the only boutique in Statesboro where savvy shoppers could find premium brands like True Religion, J Brand, French Connection and BCBGeneration.
Two and a half years later, Lanier opened two sister boutiques under the Boutiques in the Boro label: Social and Dish. Social and Dish each offer a unique style perspective at a student-friendly price point. Social, in Statesboro's popular Market District, has a classic, preppy vibe. In addition to Georgia Southern and University of Georgia "game day" dresses, Social stocks Social stocks modern riffs on everyone's favorites: blazers, tailored shorts, and cute handbags. Dish, in Statesboro's Woodlands Square, is the yin to Social's yang. Dish is all about bohemian, eclectic and free-spirited style; our signature items include vintage-inspired Mamie Ruth skirts and dresses. In addition, Dish carry gifts for all occasions, including bridal showers, housewarmings, and birthdays. After five years, everything fell into place and Runway was combined with Social in March 2012. The transition to two sister boutiques was complete!
